Online Business Plan course from CSU-Fresno

A nine-week course on making a business plan is being offered to entrepreneurs across the Central Valley through California State University, Fresno, with additional support from the Kings County Economic Development Corp. and the Central California Small Business Development Center.

Weekly sessions will take place on Wednesday evenings at the College of the Sequoias computer lab in Hanford, starting on Sept. 28. But if you can’t get to Hanford, the course is as close as the computer you’re using to read this story.

Called “AcceleratorOnline,” it’s the Central Valley’s only online learning program designed to help entrepreneurs create a comprehensive business plan from the comfort of their home, its sponsors say.

Because the program allows for flexibility, it has proven to be popular among existing and potential business owners who want to create a business plan without taking time away from the office, their customers, or their “day jobs.”

The fee for the course is $50. Enrollment is limited.
